Agree how assurance will work

We work with the client, central programme team and business partners to establish what needs checking, who is responsible and how findings reach the people who need to act. Our work can cover delivery checks, programme oversight and independent review across Lines of Defence 1 to 3.

Put the approach into practice

We develop the processes, engage partners and help teams establish consistent ways of recording, reviewing and reporting costs. This includes review points for estimates and target costs before approval. We assess capability and address gaps as programmes start up or change.

Experience of complex transitions

At Hinkley Point C, MJA designed and implemented assurance processes supporting the transition from FIDIC to NEC. At Southern Renewals Enterprise, executive sponsorship supported assurance of delivery and cost outputs for years 1 and 2, followed by stronger partner and project controls and an embedded assurance programme for years 3–5 and beyond.
